A Journey through YOUR energy centers – Part 7, Crown Chakra

This is the last of the energy centers series. The Crown Chakra is the chakra that enables us to move beyond the physical universe. More is always possible with all of these chakras and this is the one that reminds us of the limitlessness of it all. The key is to bring this information back down into the physical body, because as humans…that is what we are doing here on earth. My interpretation of this center is it is our ability to understand how we are all connected. When it is unbalanced or blocked, we feel alone, separate from each other or attached to the physical reality such as routines or dramas. It can be us stuck “in our head” or “over thinking” things or it could be lost in “daydreaming”. This chakra is also where external information comes in, regardless of source. I often find the news, parents, and other external control factors blocking up people’s seventh chakra. It can also be people’s connection to the spiritual realms as well i.e. God, guides, angels, etc. Notice, what external information do you let affect your decisions? Do you feel victimized by external situations? Do you feel alone in your struggles? Can you release those illusions and pay attention to what peaceful messages are there in your seventh. Bring that down into your body. When the seventh is open a sense of peace and clarity flows through all of the chakras. Do you listen to the external sources that support peace or fear? Notice what you are allowing to consume your time. Are you reading negative news, watching negative T.V. programs, or reading sad books? All of this affects how energy flows through your seventh chakra. In the message that your thoughts creates your reality, it the message to notice what you are allowing to consume you unconsciously. It all matters. There is not insignificant interaction. If you are allowing the interactions to drain you and control your thoughts… it is time to take back control and rule your OWN life. Life your life to the fullest. We are all struggling and concerned about similar things. We are all stuck in our thoughts at times. This is something you can use to connect to if you can’t let it go. Connect to the fact that you are not alone, just because we all have the same struggles. As I read for people, I see the same struggles over and over. We are not alone, we just are afraid to share ourselves sometimes because we perceive to be separate from each other. Reach out and get support from helpful sources and realize you are not alone. However, be careful as you do this, because it can also become an “identity” for you that is an illusion that will perpetuate the problem. For example, I find some support groups to drive this self identity in further rather than help you break free. For example, I have a gifted child, who is “twice exceptional”. The risk is, I could let that define me and my child and join groups to complain about how things aren’t working for these kids. That is limiting, and although it is helpful to know I am not alone and brainstorm ways we can make this better, I must be careful not to allow it to DEFINE me. It isn’t who I am. Similarly I have celiac disease. I have heard people at support groups refer to themselves as “celiacs” or “I am celiac”. The definition of yourself begins to form into this disease and consumes you. Although these things all make up our experience, we are so much more that can’t even be described in works. Notice how you are limiting yourself. Notice where you are a victim of your own thoughts. As always, don’t make this a problem, just notice and shift it, if you so choose. You are more powerful than you know. If you become awake to what you are allowing to influence your life, you will notice the pathway to more fulfilling experiences. “That which oppresses me, is it my soul trying to come out in the open, or the soul of the world knocking at my heart for its entrance?” – Rabindranath Tagore Have a peaceful and balanced week. Love to you all. Namaste.
